New Delhi , Feb. 27

To push the brand Mountain Dew, PepsiCo India plans to launch a marketing initiative in 200 cities aimed at strengthening its presence in smaller cities.

The company also announced a new formulation for the beverage on Monday. The formulation would add `extra punch' to the existing taste, according to the company.

"We hope that the youth will like the new Mountain Dew and hope that the exciting consumer initiatives will establish this experience," said Executive Director, Marketing, Pepsico India, Ms Punita Lal.

The new beverage would start selling next month with a new logo with shades of black and green.
