Scandent bags US Govt contract

Bangalore, Feb. 27

Scandent Solutions Corp Ltd has announced a $7.8 million contract from the US State Government.

The 18-month contract involves re-platforming the State's system and covers an additional six months of warranty. With this win, the company has now secured healthcare applications and development business of $49 million from three States in the US over the last four months, which collectively are to be delivered over a three-year period.

"This win is further iteration of the company's ability to provide great service and continue to be relevant, flexible and responsive to US State Governments ongoing development needs," said Mr Chris Sinclair, Chairman and CEO in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
