SEAI hails duty sops

The Seafood Exporter Association of India (SEAI) has welcomed the excise duty concessions on packaged products. According to Mr Elias Sait, Secretary-General, Seafood Exporters Association of India, the excise duty concessions for packaged food products will help grow the domestic markets. The move will be a good step in expanding the markets for processed seafood and reduce dependence on exports, he said.
