JM Morgan Stanley on Thursday announced the appointment of Mr Ridham Desai and Mr Sanjay Shah as the new joint heads of the firm's institutional equity business in India, JM Morgan Stanley Securities Pvt Ltd. Mr Desai, Managing Director, joined Morgan Stanley in Mumbai in 1997 and was most recently JM Morgan Stanley's Head of India Research. Mr Shah, Managing Director, joined Morgan Stanley in 1996 and was made Head of Sales at JM Morgan Stanley Securities. They would also join the Board of Directors of JM Morgan Stanley Securities Pvt Ltd, a press release said here.

"Ridham and Sanjay have proved their leadership abilities and the right credentials to drive our institutional equity business and ensure our continued focus on clients and build on the tremendous success we have had in India," said Mr Nimesh Kampani, Chairman, JM Morgan Stanley. Mr Danny Hegglin, Managing Director and Head of Morgan Stanley's Institutional Equities Division for Asia, said these appointments reinforce the company's commitment to provide "clients with the very best advice, services and insight."
