Siti Channel sports new look

Our Bureau

Mumbai, March 2

SITI Channel, Asia's first cable channel to turn satellite channel, is targeting both youth & family audience with a new look. SITI Channel was launched after consolidating with the independent cable operators in 1994.

Initially, it was positioned as a community channel, relaying movies and local content. The main objective for this city-specific channel, which was first mooted by Siti Cable Network Ltd across its operational areas, was to provide city specific programming and content.

Now, when the viewers are exposed to more then 150 channels, the channel has decided to take the brand on satellite. The content is quite similar to the cable format.

The channel will take it's new avatar, with the baseline Entertainment Ka Naya Funda, Interesting!
