Canara Bank to extend soft loan

BANGALORE: Canara Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tata BP Solar India Ltd, to extend a soft loan for the purchase of water heaters.

The bank will charge two per cent as interest rate for domestic consumers purchasing the solar water heaters from Tata BP Solar. The interest for institutional and commercial users would be three and five per cent respectively.
