Hyderabad, March 6

Satyam Computer Services Ltd on Monday announced it has been assessed at CMMI Level 5 wherein the company has undergone 10 assessments in the last 30 months, covering 16 business units, engaged in delivering IT services to its customers worldwide. CMMI is the latest model from Software Engineering Institute (SEI), US. Level 5 is the highest level of maturity that an organisation can achieve on CMMI. The Managing Director of Satyam, Mr B. Rama Raju, in a statement said, "Most companies have either been assessed for a business unit/location or have gone for a big-bang assessment. On the contrary, Satyam has adopted a staggered assessment approach taking up multiple assessments to cover the businesses which hold more consistency and therefore credibility."
