Castorseed futures down

Mumbai , March 7

RBD palmolein and soya oil weakened further on the local edible oils market on Tuesday on continued offerings, while groundnut oil remained steady on stray buying. Castor seed futures fell below the Rs 1,600-level on increased selling. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 443 per 10 kg.

RBD palmolein was down Re 1 at Rs 381 per 10 kg. Soya oil crude oil imported was down Rs 2 at Rs 360 per 10 kg. Soya oil refined imported was down Rs 2 at Rs 371 per 10 kg.

Castor oil commercial grade was up Re 1 at Rs 330 per 10 kg on some enquiries. In futures segment, castor seed April contracts ended Rs 13 lower at Rs 1,593 per quintal over previous close.
