Consumer Finance SBT loan for bus, truck operators Our Bureau
Thiruvananthapuram , March 7 State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has introduced a working capital loan scheme for private bus and truck operators.
The loan is available up to a maximum of Rs 2 lakh per bus/truck for the existing customers of the bank having a route permit from the Road Transport Authority. The vehicle should not be more than 10 years old. The loan amount covers day-to-day working capital requirements and contingency expenses. The loan will be available for a period of 12 months with a provision to renew it thereafter. As of now, the annual rate of interest will be 10 per cent.
