Call rates close at 6.70 per cent

The call rate closed Tuesday's trade at 6.70 per cent (6.75-6.80 per cent). In the first one-day auction, the RBI did not receive any bids in the reverse repo. It received 19 bids for Rs 7,460 crore in the repo. In the second auction, the RBI received and accepted three bids for Rs 150 crore in reverse repo and two bids for Rs 750 crore in the repo auction. In the CBLO market, there were 322 trades for Rs 19,878.25 crore in the 6.15-7 per cent.
