Gifts, bumper prizes and more — retailers do it all the time to lure you and push sales. This incentive-linked promotion comes from an unlikely quarter, a pharmacy chain.

Trust Chemists & Druggists Ltd on Wednesday announced a `Sale-A-Bration' at its 26 outlets across Bangalore. The offer valid till March 30 promises bumper prizes against lucky draws, take-aways, free health checks and a special offer at sibling Trust Diabetic World.

A release quoted Mr Hemanth Bothra, Director, Trust, as saying every purchase would come with gifts such as skin creams, conditioners and utility items. Purchases worth Rs 250 will offer a coupon for the lucky draw, for which the prizes would include diamond pendant, dinner sets, Panasonic gift voucher and two Honda Activa scooters for the bumper prize. The draw will be made on April 15.

"Our pharmacy outlets in Bangalore have done extremely well in the objective to offer a new refreshing experience in purchase of medicines. We are hopeful that this unique offer, a first of its kind offered by any pharmacy retail chain in Karnataka, will be received enthusiastically by our customers," Mr Bothra said.
