Castorseed futures weaken

Edible oils continued to rule weaker on the local edible oils market on Thursday on continued offerings amid stray buying interest. Castor seed futures ended weak on some local selling.

Groundnut oil raw was down Re 1 at Rs 441 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was down Re 1 at Rs 379 per 10 kg. Soya oil crude oil imported was down Rs 3 at Rs 352 per 10 kg. Soya oil refined imported was down Rs 2 at Rs 368 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was down Rs 2 at Rs 326 per 10 kg on poor buying.

In the futures segment, castor seed April contracts ended Rs 2 lower at Rs 1,567 per quintal over previous close.
