Hewlett-Packard (HP) expects its StorageWorks Enterprise File Services family of Wide Area Network (WAN) accelerators to be adopted on a large scale in India and the Asia-Pacific region.

"We expect the oil and gas, retail and telecommunication companies (Telcos) to adopt WAN accelerators on a large scale in India," said Mr Anthony T.K. Chan, Vice-President & General Manager, StorageWorks division, Enterprise Storage and Servers, Asia Pacific, HP Singapore.
