Polaris, SAP pact for retail segment

Chennai, March 9

Polaris Retail Infotech Ltd (PRIL), a retail software provider, and SAP India, a provider of business software solutions, have announced an alliance to support retail clients in India. SAP India has chosen PRIL as a mySAP "All-in-One" partner for the retail segment in India, according to a joint press release. Under the alliance, PRIL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Polaris Software Lab, is responsible for selling SAP IS Retail licences as well as providing implementation and support services, targeting small and midsize customers in the retail segment, says the release.
