Hyderabad , March 10

Nuziveedu Seeds Ltd (NSL), the hybrid cottonseed producer based out of Hyderabad, has tied up with the Gurgaon-based agro chemical company EI Dupont India Private Ltd for marketing of its Bt cotton hybrids.

"EI Dupont will market these hybrids in special packaging depicting unique brands," Mr B.R.K. Murthy, Deputy General Manager (Marketing Coordination) of NSL, said in a press release here on Thursday.

Commenting on the agreement, the NSL said the idea was to reach out to farmers. "In spite of having an elaborate marketing system, it is very difficult to all farmers through the existing distribution channels. Hence, the agreement," he said. The two companies also planned to jointly offer crop management advisory services to the farmers.
