New Delhi , March 10

Delhi-based business process management company Newgen Software Technologies Ltd today announced that it has bagged an order from Hewlett Packard (HP) for Bank of Baroda to automate its retail and trade finance processes across Regional Processing Centres.

The order would help the bank reduce paper-based processing and turnaround time in the banking processes, a statement said here.

Along with trade finance processes, Newgen would also automate processes such as account opening, personal loans and credit card account opening, among others.

"The solutions would reduce paper-based processing and enable the bank to become more competitive by delivering Service Level Agreements (SLA) to its customers. This would also enable the bank to differentiate its SLAs as per customer's needs and offer prices according to the profitability of the customers," said Mr Diwakar Nigam, Managing Director, Newgen.
