KEC International begins trading

Mumbai , March 10

Following the de-merger to create new listed companies - KEC International and KEC Infrastructure, the shares of KEC International were listed on Friday on the stock exchanges at Rs 425.

The shares had been suspended since mid-February for restructuring, under which the newly listed KEC International would carry on the core business of power transmission and distribution while KEC Infrastructure would hold investments in group companies and non-core advances divested from the parent company.

On the BSE, KEC International's share price closed at Rs 422.40, after hitting a high of Rs 490. On the NSE, the share price opened at Rs 425, before closing at Rs 421.85.
