WebEx, CMC tie up

Collaborative software firm WebEx Communications India and CMC Ltd, an IT solutions company and subsidiary of TCS, have entered into an alliance. Under the agreement, CMC will market, sell and support the WebEx solutions suite to customers in the public and private sectors in India. "WebEx has a proven track record of delivering world-class collaborative solutions globally with its unique MediaTone Network,'' said Mr Ramanathan Ramanan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CMC. CMC has 18 offices, 150 service locations, and over 3,500 employees worldwide. The company also announced that it would deliver complete outsourced systems management services to its global customers, based on new system management solution from WebEx. CMC will leverage its skilled resources to provide large-scale remote desktop management services bundled with the WebEx system management solution.
