Maritime pacts with Brazil, SA likely

New Delhi, March 11

India is considering signing maritime agreements with Brazil and South Africa, the Special Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, Mr Rakesh Kumar, said on Friday. Speaking at a seminar organised by Assocham, he said the Government is also working out modalities to implement the framework agreement in civil aviation with the two countries. The agreement would help in reducing transportation cost between the three countries, he said.
