TAKING CARE: Tending to plantations is paying off as quality teas are getting good offers at the auctions. Major plantations owned by the corporates are being looked after well, like this estate at Devikulam near Munnar in Kerala. Though tea prices rose during Jan-Feb on reports of drought in Kenya, they have begun to cool off as the damage in the African country is said to be less severe.
