The Hindu, in association with the Kerala State IT Mission of the Government of Kerala, is organising an `Opportunities Fair' at the St Joseph's Higher Secondary School auditorium here on March 25 and 26.

Cognizant Technology Solutions is the main event sponsor. Associate sponsors are Patni Computers, Verizon and SunTec Business Solutions. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is the communication partner. Several top class companies in the IT, ITES and insurance areas are expected to participate.

Fresh graduates, postgraduates and professionals with two to 10 years of work experience can apply. They can register themselves at the following addresses: www.thehindu.com and www.tmifirst.com/hf6/index.aspx. The last date for registration is March 18.

The registered CVs of the fresh pass-outs and professionals, with less than two years' experience, will be screened by the participating companies and invitations sent to the selected candidates. The decision of the companies will be final and no further communication will be entertained on the subject. Only invited candidates would be allowed into the event venue. But separate `fast track' entry will be allowed for experienced professionals.

Professionals with two to 10 years' experience can register any time before the end of the event and walk into the job fair with a printout of the registration confirmation form. Details of the event will be given in The Hindu Opportunities.
