Kochi, March 12

Coffee retailer Barista Coffee Company has entered Kerala with a shop in Kochi and plans to set up eight outlets across the State in one year. The first outlet of Barista has come up at the Bay Pride Mall at Marine Drive. A second outlet in the city will come up in the next couple of months, said Mr Sandeep Ahuja, Vice-President, Business Development, Projects and Franchising of Barista Coffee Company. "Kochi has already become one of the important industrial centres of the country," Mr Ahuja said. The city Barista outlet will be open through the week from 9 am to 11 pm.
