LIC's Bima Gold well received

LIC's Golden jubilee plan, Bima Gold, has received good response from public as the Ernakulam division could sell more than one lakh policies and became the top division in the South Zone comprising Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondichery. This plan constitutes 32 per cent of total new policies and the policy will be available for purchase only up to March 31. The Ernakulam division has also sold more than 3 lakh policies (all plans) during the current financial year and collected a first premium of Rs 300 crore, Mr P. Venugopal, Senior Divisional Manager, said in a statement issued here. The unit-linked plan Future Plus is also doing well as this plan could fetch more than Rs 175 crore first premium. Amulya Jeevan, Jeevan Akshay IV and Jeevan Tarang are the three new plans launched by the Corporation, he said.
