Wipro remote centre for Aviva

Our Bureau

To provide remote managed infrastructure services

Bangalore, March 13

Wipro Technologies said on Monday that it has recently opened a dedicated Global Command Centre for the UK insurance giant Aviva.

Set up with significant investments in new generation technology and tool sets, this remote managed infrastructure management centre will provide 24x7 remote managed services for the entire IT infrastructure of RAC, a business division of Aviva, Wipro said in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The services includes 24x7 monitoring, service desk, data centre management, desktop applications packaging & support, messaging and database support. This technology-agnostic managed services centre will provide Aviva with a real-time view of infrastructure services that support critical business operations. Mr Patrick Snowball, Group Executive Director, Aviva, UK, inaugurated the remote services centre at the Wipro's campus in Pune last week.
