Hyderabad, March 14

Veteran film director Mr Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, who is known for his experimental themes and their treatment, is working on yet another interesting project. This time, he is going to make the animation film Maya Bazaar, which revolves round the mythical character Ghatothkacha. The film with the same name, with legendary actors like S.V. Ranga Rao, N.T. Rama Rao and Savitri, is an all time hit in the Telugu film industry. It continues to attract a number of eyeballs whenever it was telecast. Keeping in mind the popularity of the subject, Polygon Perplexes (Private) had roped in Mr Rao to direct the film. He had earlier directed Son of Aladdin, a 3D animation film. The film is being made in eight languages, including English, Bengali, Marathi and all the South Indian languages. "We hope to release the film by the year end," a company press release said.
