Our Bureau

Hyderabad, March 14

Satyam Computer Services Ltd has announced that research and consultancy firm Gartner has positioned Satyam in the visionary quadrant for business intelligence (BI) and implementation services in the latter's Magic Quadrant 2006 report.

The Vice-President of Satyam, Mr Kiran Cavale, in a statement said: "BI is a great enabler of business transformation and we continue to invest in building capabilities to bring out value-added services in industry-specific services offerings and analytic capabilities."

Satyam's BI practice has been built on the vision of enabling customers to make better and real time decisions.

Magic Quadrant is a graphical representation of a marketplace for a specific time period. It depicts Gartner's analysis of how certain vendors measure against criteria for that marketplace, as defined by Gartner.
