Mobile revolution

The article `Leveraging the mobile phone revolution' (Business Line, March 9) clearly brings out the inter-relationship between telecom, IT and the economy.

Being a research student, I was especially inspired by Manju, the plumber's story, which the article used to represent this three-tier combine.

The article has also stressed the significant role that mobile phone technology plays in spurring the growth of such services in our country.
