Mumbai, March 15

MGE UPS Systems, a global player in uninterruptible power supplies and associated services, announced on Wednesday in a release issued from Montbonnot, France that it has decided to activate its wholly-owned subsidiary in India. The setting up of MGE UPS Systems India Pvt Ltd will allow MGE to intensify its presence after being in business for 10 years in the Indian market. Ambit Corporate Finance is the advisor to MGE in India. The power protection market in India is currently in a stage of strong development, estimated at over 20 per cent a year, driven by India's rapid and sustained economic growth. This initiative shows MGE's commitment to India and its customers, said Mr Claude Graff, President and CEO, MGE UPS Systems.
