Indo Tech closes firm on Day 1

Mumbai , March 16

Shares of Indo Tech Transformers Ltd made their debut on the stock markets on Thursday at Rs 165 per share (BSE), compared to the IPO price of Rs 130 per share. The shares were listed at Rs 135 on the NSE.

The Chennai-based company's shares rocketed upwards soon after listing to touch a high of Rs 242.90, before closing at Rs 235.90 on the BSE. On the NSE, the shares hit a high of Rs 248 and closed at Rs 239.

Over 2.94 crore shares were traded on the exchanges.
