LVB hikes deposit rates

Lakshmi Vilas Bank has announced a hike in domestic term deposit rates with effect from March 18.

The new rates are 5.75 per cent (5 per cent) on 46-90 days deposits and 6 per cent (5.50 per cent) on 91-180 days deposits. For deposits with tenures of 181-270 days and 271-364 days, the rates have been hiked to 6.50 per cent (6 per cent) and 6.75 per cent (6.25 per cent) respectively. Deposits maturing between one and five years and for those beyond five years, the rates are 7.50 per cent (7.25 per cent) and 7.75 per cent (7.50 per cent) respectively.
