Kingston Tech's new security drive

Bangalore, March 20

Memory products maker Kingston Technology Corporation introduced DataTraveler Elite - Privacy Edition, an USB flash drive that offers security with 128-bit encryption.

This device holds 4GB of data and is targeted to meet enterprise-level security and compliance requirements.

It also features a complex password protocol and a mechanism that locks out would-be attackers after 25 consecutive failed password attempts, ensuring information is accessible only to authorised users, and thwarting even "brute force attack" attempts to access data on lost or stolen devices, said the release issued by the company.
