Change of guard at IAMAI

Mumbai, March 20

The Governing Council of Internet & Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has announced a change of guard at the Association with effect from April 1. The association has appointed Mr Anupam Mittal, Chairman & MD, People Group and founder of businesses such as Shaadi.com and MAUJ Telecom, as the Chairman, and Dr Subho Ray, Ex-Director - IT & Telecom, CII, as the President of the IAMAI.

Mr Anupam Mittal takes over the mandate from Mr Neville Taraporewalla and Dr Ray from Ms Preeti Desai. The association also announced the appointments of Mr Avnish Bajaj, CEO, ebay India as Vice-Chairman and Mr Ravi Ramu, CFO, Times Internet, as its treasurer.
