Bangalore , March 22

Intel's venture capital organisation, Intel Capital, has selected Mumbai as the venue of its 7th annual global CEO summit from May 23 to 26. About 400 executives and leaders from different parts of the world are expected to attend the summit.

Mr Arvind Sodhani, President of Intel Capital, said, "The location of this event reflects the increasingly global scope of Intel Capital's investments and builds on our December 2005 announcement of the $250-million Intel Capital India Technology Fund. The event will focus on discussing the business opportunities in India that can make all our portfolio companies more successful."

The CEO summit will provide a platform for the participants to understand the Indian business environment.
