Fedora Core 5 introduced

The latest version of the popular Fedora Core Linux distribution, Fedora Core 5, has been introduced in India. Fedora Core 5 features new desktop applications, advances in security and Xen virtualisation. Enhancements include note-taking tool Tomboy, digital photograph manager F-Spot and accelerated Indirect GLX support, which brings eye-catching effects for the desktop, according to the release issued by the Red Hat backed company. The release of Fedora Core 5 includes several new security features such as a stack protector to GCC 4.1.
