Zee Telefilms to consider revamp plan

Mumbai , March 22

Zee Telefilms Ltd (ZTL) has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board of directors would meet on March 29, to consider restructuring the company's businesses.

Company officials, when contacted, declined to give details of the restructuring proposal.

However, stock market talk of a restructuring plan at ZTL had driven up the share price over the last few days. In the last one month, shares of ZTL have risen to Rs 236.20 from Rs 168.15 quoted on February 22, on the BSE.

According to reports, the company was considering restructuring its business, possibly a de-merger of its businesses.
