Rupee convertibility

This refers to the full convertibility of the rupee. Everyone knows that hot money will fly, whether there is full convertibility or not. It is the local black money that creates havoc and not the FII or foreign funds. Full convertibility can be exploited by the unscrupulous. It is hoped the Tarapore Committee address will the issue.
