Kemrock powered by wind energy

Is Kemrock Industries & Exports doing exceedingly well on the back of huge orders from Suzlon Energy? Grapevine has it that the orders are for windmill blades.

Market expectation is that the company's turnover for the quarter ending March 31, 2006 would be roughly three times than in the previous quarter (December 2005) with commensurate rise in profits.

Export orders from the US are pouring in and more orders from Europe are likely, particularly after Suzlon's acquisition of a Belgian wind power company. According to analysts, the current trend suggests that the company's sales growth could be over 100 per cent year-on-year in the next 2 to 3 years.

The stock closed at Rs 154.50 (day's high - Rs 163) against Wednesday's price of Rs 159.50. In the last one month the stock has gained 18.30 per cent.
