More IA summer flights from Chennai

New Delhi, March 24

Indian Airline is to operate a daily non-stop flight between Chennai and Dubai and another daily non-stop flight between Kozhikode-Dubai from June 1 this year. Besides, the airline is to operate a once-a-week flight on the Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram-Sharjah-Kuwait and Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram-Sharjah sectors. Indian Airlines also proposes to start a twice-a-week flight on the Hyderabad-Nagpur-Bangkok sector.

In the domestic skies, the airline is to operate a fifth daily flight on the Chennai-Mumbai sector. The proposed new flights form part of the airline summer schedule that comes into effect from end of this month.
