Mr Pratap Bose will be Ogilvy & Mather India's (O&M) new CEO. Mr Bose, who is currently President of Ogilvy Activation and Managing Director of Kinetic (South Asia), will replace Mr John Goodman in June. The announcement was made at the company's AGM on Monday.

Mr Bose joined Ogilvy in 1993 and set up Oglivy Landscapes, the outdoor advertising division, which is now a $50-million unit.

He went on to head Activation - the merged out-of-home businesses, which included Live, Outreach, and Signscapes.

He was appointed Managing Director of Kinetic (South Asia) in addition to his existing roles. Kinetic is WPP's new out-of-home company.

"It's a great honour that the board has taken this decision and to have trusted me. I am delighted," said Mr Bose.

Mr Piyush Pandey, Executive Chairman and National Creative Director, O&M, said: "We are delighted to appoint Mr Pratap Bose as the new CEO. Mr Goodman is moving to head O&M, Japan in June."

The board also announced the appointment of Mr S.N. Rane, COO of Ogilvy India and South Asia, as co-Executive Chairman of O&M India.

"In his two decades at Ogilvy, Mr Rane has been passionately associated with every aspect of the company's business. He will continue to play the COO's role for India and South Asia," said Mr Pandey.
