Textiles performance evaluation meet

Coimbatore , March 27

Indian Statistical Institute, Coimbatore, is holding a one-day textile seminar on multi-discipline performance evaluation here.on Tuesday.

The presentation of the seminar, to be held jointly with the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management (SVPITM), will focus on critical factors such as evaluation of capital structure, turnaround strategies, production, quality, customer satisfaction measures, human resources competency, tax planning, cotton quality and quantity progress.

To be held at the SVPITM campus here, the seminar would be inaugurated by Dr Bhimasankaram, Head, SQC and OR division of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Key speakers are Mr Anantha Padmanabhan, Executive Vice-President, Lakshmi Mills Company Ltd, and Mr A. Ramakrishna, Executive Director of Precot Mills Ltd, and Mr M.K. Sreekumar, DGM, State Bank of India's Commercial branch, Coimbatore, according to an official press communication.
