Awareness programme on futures

Mumbai, March 27

In collaboration with Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Forward Markets Commission (FMC) has organised an awareness programme on forward/futures trading in commodities for state warehouses and private warehouses in Mumbai during March 28-29. The programme will focus on commodity exchanges and its interface with warehousing, demutualisation of warehouse receipt and risk management against using warehouse receipt - role of banks and mechanism of collateral management. After Chennai and Delhi, this is the third programme arranged by the CWC and FMC jointly this month.
