Emulate London

This refers to the report "The City of London offers packages for companies State Govts," (Business Line, March 27): This should be an eye-opener to our cities that are reeling under the pressure of development. Perhaps it shows how talent can be used. Will Indian cities and towns take up this challenge? The Lord Mayor touched two very important points that are of relevance. The need to assuage the fear of the labour in the present context of public-private participation. Further, he said that the Law Society of the UK is opening a branch in Mumbai. An urgent need today is speedy justice. Can we work for that without delay?
