Rahman to endorse WorldSpace

WorldSpace Inc, one of the major satellite-based digital radio services, has announced that music director and composer A.R. Rahman will be its national brand ambassador. As part of the company's advertising and promotional activity, Rahman will produce an exclusive WorldSpace song and endorse the company's products.

"We are delighted to partner with the musical genius of A.R. Rahman, as he is world-renowned for bringing global rhythms and Indian tunes together to create a distinctive international sound," said a press release quoting Mr Shishir Lall, managing director, Worldspace India. Worldspace, with more than 40 high-quality digital channels, delivers a variety of branded and commercial-free content including jazz, rock, pop, classical and country.
