Human Resources States - Karnataka `Team effort essential for managing HR in ports' Our Bureau
Mangalore , March 28 Team effort is essential for managing human resources in port sector, said Mr P. Tamilvanan, Chairman, New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT). Delivering the valedictory address at the two-day southern regional conference of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) in Mangalore on Tuesday, Mr Tamilvanan said that various agencies are involved in the operation of ports. Rather than having a precedent for personnel management in port sector, it is better to get the work done through team efforts. The Chairman of NIPM's Mangalore Chapter, Mr P.A. Jose, presided over the valedictory session.
