Universal Empire to invest Rs 1,750 cr

Kochi, March 28

The Kerala-based Universal Empire Group has announced its decision to foray into the infrastructure segment, through its newly formed holding company, Universal Empire Infrastructure Ltd (UEIL). Addressing a press conference here, Mr Balachandran Nair, Chairman and Managing Director of the company, said that the group was planning investments to the tune of Rs 1,750 crore in various projects across the country in the next five years. "We are determined to create economically viable ventures that will have direct impact on the nation's development, thus sowing seeds for a vibrant tomorrow", he said.
