ICSA product secures patent

Hyderabad, March 28

ICSA India Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that it has received provisional patent for its `Distribution Transformer Monitoring System' (DTMS) from the Controller of Patents, Regional Patent Office, Government of India. The DTMS is used to control and balance the load in a feeder at sub-stations and is designed with a modular concept to scale it up or down based on the rating, number of consumers and type of consumers connected with the transformer. The company envisages that the product will act as point-of-sale equipment for trading activities of distribution companies.
