Swarnkar is CMD, Syndicate Bank

New Delhi , March 29

The Government has appointed Mr C.P. Swarnkar, Executive Director of Punjab National Bank (PNB), as Chairman and Managing Director of Syndicate Bank. Mr Swarnkar started his banking career with PNB as a probationary officer. He became a General Manager in 1998 and an Executive Director of PNB in June 2005.

With Mr Swarnkar appointed as CMD of Syndicate Bank, the Government has now promoted Mr K. Raghuraman as Executive Director of PNB. Prior to this, Mr Raghuraman was General Manager in Central Bank of India and heading the Treasury, forex operations and information technology at the bank.
