SC Gupta is IBA Deputy Chairman

Mumbai, March 29

Mr S.C. Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, Punjab National Bank, has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of Indian Banks' Association. Mr Gupta started his banking career with State Bank of India in 1966. He has also worked in Syndicate Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce. He was Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank from December 1999 to May 2001 and its CMD from May 2001 to April 2005, said a press release from IBA.
