BPL Kerala rebranded as Hutch

BPL Mobile Cellular in Kerala circle has been rebranded as Hutch, following the acquisition of BPL Mobile by Hutchison Essar Ltd.

Announcing this at a function on Thursday, Mr Samuel Selvakumar, Operations Director, Hutchison Essar South, said that the transition from BPL Mobile to Hutch was part of the ongoing integration process. He added that the company would keep working towards expanding and enhancing the network and service levels in the circle.

He also said that Hutch has become a well-established cellular brand in the country within a short span.
