This is a first-of-its-kind vertical for the seed industry. The companies will be in a position to know stock position with its help.

Hyderabad , March 31

Positive Solutions (Private) Ltd, a Hyderabad-based client/server and Web-based technologies solutions provider, has developed an ERP solution for seed producers.

The ERP, Planagrow, solution will help the seed companies in cutting down on data redundancy and achieve consistency in information at various stages.

Mr Bhagwan V.R.S. Gorti, Chief Executive Officer of Positive Solutions, said the solution would mean low communication costs to companies.

He claimed that this was a first-of-its-kind vertical for the seed industry. "As a result of regular and constant flow of information, the companies will be in a position to know stock position. Everyone in the network could have access to information," he said in a press release here.

"The ERP comprises 10 modules. We have developed after understanding the working of the seed firms and their needs," he said.

The solution would go live in Super Agri Seeds on April 1.
